Wavin 4S304W Osma 110mm Air Admittance Valve

The Wavin 4S304W is an OsmaS 110mm air admittance valve (AAV) made from ABS. It admits air into a drainage stack when pressure drops, which stops the water seals in appliance traps being drawn out, and it closes under positive pressure to stop foul air escaping into the building.

It is designed for above-ground drainage systems and is intended to be fitted by a competent general builder or contractor. It fits 110mm pipe with its push-fit connector, or 82mm pipe when the connector is removed and the valve is solvent-welded. Wavin describes it as part of its Osma soil and vent system.

The valve body and cap are injection-moulded ABS with integral protection screens, and the diaphragm and connector are synthetic rubber.
