Loctite 55 is a general-purpose threaded pipe and fitting sealant supplied as a white coated cord that is wound directly from the dispensing package onto the threads. It is designed for sealing metal and plastic tapered pipe threads and fittings up to 4″ NPT in industrial applications with aqueous and non-aqueous fluids.
