Hyco IN44T Rho 4.4kW Thermostatic Inline Water Heater

The Hyco IN44T is the thermostatic 4.4kW model in the Rho range of compact instantaneous inline water heaters. Water is heated as it passes through a bare-wire element, so there is no stored volume and no standing heat loss.

It is intended for hand washing at one basin in domestic or commercial washrooms, as a new point-of-use install or a local replacement where a cylinder or long pipe run is impractical. Thermostatic control adjusts heating power for temperature, flow and pressure, and recalls the last set outlet temperature after power is restored.

The casing is easy-clean high-impact ABS. Overheat protection operates at 80°C, and the unit is rated IPX4. It must be wired to the fixed installation by a suitably qualified person and sited in a frost-free place, as close as practical to the outlet.
